Relationship Outreach
Genuine relationships are the cornerstone of all legislative and administrative victories. It is imperative that Vojas Taylor helps our clients build and strengthen relationships with reliable, tenured lawmakers, while also creating strong relationships with new legislators, staff and administrators due to constant turnover. Our firm has strong relationships with many of the new management-level staff as well as rank-and-file staff that have been working at the State through several administrations and General Assemblies. We will develop a strategy to foster and strengthen relationships for our clients through the engagement of Illinois legislators and staff, the Governor’s Office, administrative staff, state departments and key stakeholders.
Monitor Legislation
We monitor legislation related to all issues, appropriations and rules affecting our clients. We review all introduced bills, amendments, conference committee reports, resolutions and proposed constitutional amendments and will alert clients through weekly tracking reports and oral communication as issues can quickly develop during the legislative session. We utilize the technology of Hannah Legislative Services for tracking legislation.
Coalition Building
We have worked extensively with advocates on numerous legislative initiatives and have spearheaded many coalitions. We understand the nuances of being a member of organizations/associations and we can help facilitate productive relationships with other stakeholders in Illinois.
