
Stephanie Vojas Taylor
Stephanie Vojas Taylor is the owner and founder of Vojas Taylor LLC. She draws on her extensive experience in government relations, experience in trade associations and strong ties to the Illinois political community to help clients meet their business goals. Clients turn to her for advice and representation in lawmaking and the regulatory processes, knowing that the continuing success of their businesses can often hinge on such issues.
Prior to founding Vojas Taylor LLC, Ms. Vojas Taylor was a Partner at a national firm where she founded and built the firm’s Illinois legislative practice. Under her leadership, the firm was able to successfully navigate the Illinois Governorship transitioning from Republican to Democrat as well as the Illinois’ House of Representatives transition to its first new Speaker of the House in almost four decades.
Ms. Vojas Taylor began her work in Illinois politics as an assistant counsel to Illinois Senate President John Cullerton before starting her lobbying career at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. While leading government relations for the Associated Beer Distributors of Illinois, she led the passage of the Culinary and Hospitality Modernization Act of 2015, which made national news for repealing the Illinois prohibition on happy hour. Stephanie Vojas Taylor earned her J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law, and she earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois.
